Tie a Yellow Ribbon

Tie a Yellow Ribbon

  • About

Tie a Yellow Ribbon is our annual memorial event where our community across Poole, Wimborne and the Isle of Purbeck, can come together to remember their loved ones.

This year our FREE event takes place in the new location of Poole Park and is open to everyone, not just those who have lost a loved one at Forest Holme.

You'll have the opportunity to write your dedication and tie your yellow ribbon, with ribbons then being returned to the hospice grounds for the remainder of the summer.

You're invited to join us for the special event, where you can enjoy local craft stalls and a special performance from the Citrus Singers choir.

We'll also have FREE activities for children who have experienced bereavement.

Please feel free to bring a picnic and spend the afternoon with us to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Poole Park, just a stone's throw from Forest Holme Hospice.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon is a free event, however donations to Forest Holme Hospice Charity are welcome. You can make your donation online, by post, over the phone or in person at the event. Your donation will help ensure that everyone in our community affected by life-limiting illness or bereavement will get the care and support they need, whether in our dedicated hospice facility, in hospital or at home.

If you are unable to make the event you can still leave your dedication by clicking 'donate' and completing the form.
